Values

Value	Description
"Initializing"	The device port is Initializing, hardware and communication is being setup.
"Faulty"	The device port is in Faulty state. No PTP messages are sent or received.
"Disabled"	The device port is Disabled. The device timestamp clock is free running and not disciplined.
"Listening"	The device awaiting to receive announce packet from a Master.
"PreMaster"	The device port is in PreMaster state. The port behaves similar to a Master port but some messages are not placed.
"Master"	The device port is Master and is transmitting synchronization information.
"Passive"	The device port does not place any messages except for Delay requests, response and followup.
"Uncalibrated"	The device port has found a Master but is not yet synchronized.
"Slave"	The device port is synchronized to the Master.
