(C-Series)¶
Mounting¶
The device must be fixed by 4 M4 screws – two on each side of the connector panel – using 2.4 Nm of torque. The maximal thread depth is 8 mm. (See also the model-specific dimensions below.)
Note
In dynamic applications or if vibrations occur it is recommended to secure the screws using Loctite 243 (or similar).
Warning
For C-series cameras the housing is part of the calibrated camera geometry. Bending or otherwise deforming the device will deteriorate the accuracy of the calibration. It is therefore recommended to only contact the camera housing in the area of the mounting threads used. This can be ensured either by the mechanical design of the mounting part which connects to the camera housing or the use of spacer bolts (shown in blue in the image below) when mounting the device to a flat surface.
