CalibrateWorkspace

Calibrate a workspace coordinate system via a calibration pattern observation or via a given plane.

After the command execution the selected stereo camera has a link to the world coordinate system defined in the (Target) parameter.

You can clear an existing workspace calibration by executing the command without the (PatternPose), (Offset), (DefinedPose) and (Type) parameters. This will reset the calibration to the center of the left sensor of the selected stereo camera and set its coordinate system to (Target).

See the workspace calibration guide for an in-depth explanation of how this command works and the steps that are necessary to use it.

Error Symbols

  • "NoWorkspaceLink": There is no unique open camera that is linked to the (Target) coordinate system and there was no camera specified via the (Cameras) parameter. Thus it is not clear in which camera the link should be stored. Specify a camera to store the link via the (Cameras) parameter or open a combination of cameras with a unique camera that is linked to the world coordinate system.
